Douglas Tisdale has been in healthcare for 20 years. Through the years he has held clinical positions in the pre-hospital setting, emergency department, inpatient, critical care, and physician’s office.
Mr. Tisdale holds numerous instructor certifications and has taught EMS personnel, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians in a variety of healthcare related courses. For the last 12 years he has remained in an Executive role in healthcare, while continuing to focus on training of other healthcare providers.
Doug’s passion has always been, and will always be, to ensure all patients receive the best and most affordable healthcare available. His philosophy in business is to be a servant leader. Married with four children, Mr. Tisdale takes the same approach at home. His joy in life comes from making others feel loved and cared about.
Mr. Tisdale also spends time volunteering to assist severely disabled children who require 24 hour care, to allow their parents to have some one on one time, knowing their child is well taken care of. He is uniquely qualified to partner with you and your family to walk down the uncertain path of illness and injury to ensure that you have a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, and someone to help you with the difficult healthcare decisions that face us all
P. Alan Hicks, M.D., Chief Medical Director | Dawn Tisdale, Vice President
In and around the healthcare field for over 20 years, Dawn brings a unique perspective to patient advocacy based on both professional and personal experience. As a CNA and former hospital corpsman in the US Navy, she has a deep understanding of the critical need to educate patients on how to effectively advocate for themselves and their family members.
Dawn volunteers with a myriad of organizations within her community and is excited to now be a part of Living Grace Patient Advocacy Group. She treats her patients as though they are members of her own family. She cares deeply about people and affords them the kindness and respect they deserve.
After witnessing the suffering and healthcare issues her mother faced during her long illness, Dawn was able to see the gaps created between physician and patient and the devastating effects that ensued as a result. It is her hope and goal to eliminate those gaps and create, instead, a bridge of knowledge for each and every advocacy client. Dawn believes Living Grace is the avenue to reach those with the greatest need.
